分光器用于19英寸机架，走廊盒和光缆配线盒等。它将本地侧连接到用户侧（1xN或2xN）。优点是光分布均匀，插入损耗低，偏振损耗低，回波损耗高，可靠性高，稳定性高等。规格为1×N（N = 2，4，8，16，32，64）和2 ×N（N = 2，4，8，16，32）级数。 包装方式包括不锈钢管和ABS盒。 光纤连接器的样式有FC，SC和LC。
